Up to the Top 12

KICKED OFF:

Alex Lambert: Very upset that he left when he did. I really connected with him because he was such a nervous kid and he seemed "real." I felt SO bad that he left and was really upset, too, because his last performance was FANTASTIC, in my eyes. The tone of his voice was AMAZING (similar to Ray LaMontagne or James Morrison). I think he left BECAUSE of his nervousness, but honestly... Aaron over him? Aaron is just as awkward if not more and he sounds awful in his lower register. His upper register IS very nice, but I'm sorry, you can't sing everything in your upper register.

Ashley Rodriguez: Thought she'd stay longer because of her looks, but she didn't. Angie and I both liked her, but after that first week, we were pretty much fine with her leaving as she sucked. I'm not really missing her (voice). (Angie, don't hate me.)

Haeley Vaughn: Goodbye. You suck. (so does your upper lip) (Two birds with one stone.)

Janell Wheeler: I liked her, but didn't love her. I kind of forget what she sounded like at this point, so I'm sure either her voice sucked or her performances sucked.

Jermaine Sellers: I enjoyed him a tiny bit until he started choosing songs. I'm not a fan of the gospel type singers... Hence why I usually don't love a lot of black singers on the show because I think too many of them sound "gospely." (Yes... that's a word.)

Joe Munoz: This kid left WAY too early, but it's probably because he wasn't too memorable in singing, performing, and personality. He actually reminded me of the Puerto Rican kid from last year that left in the first round of the Top 12. (Then again, that may just be a racist comment I just made.)

John Park: He should have gone earlier than he did. I didn't like him too much, especially when he sang and sounded Asian. (Sorry Alex Park.)

Katelyn Epperly: I liked her a lot. As Angie said in one of her posts, she looked awkward when she sang because she was always trying SO hard to look for the camera, but just wasn't great at it. She was a cute girl with a good voice. That being said, I think she left at the right time.

Lilly Scott: You annoy me and so did your comments when you left. You're also too "big" of a girl for me to watch comfortably on stage. Go home and dye your hair brown, black, blond, or even red. (Your body will deem when it is necessary to go "white.") (I hate you.)

Michelle Delamor: Another girl that I thought was good and cute. In my mind, she left when she should have.

Todrick Hall: I LOVED Todrick. I didn't think he could win the entire thing, but to go before the Top 12 was a bit drastic for me. PLUS, his last week was AWESOME, I thought. He really did have a RIDICULOUS voice... At least, I thought so after that last week. I loved how he performed. Also, someone (I believe Whitney) said that he was cocky... I didn't think so. I thought he was just confident. And as cliche as that sounds, I honestly think he fits into that description perfectly.

Tyler Grady: Ha ha - MAN did this kid SUCK! I may have wanted him to go more than I wanted HAELEY to go! (No, that's not true...)

TOP 12:

Aaron Kelly: Please read my comments above under Alex Lambert. This kid is NOT as good as people say he is. And his performances are awful, too. He can never figure out where to put his left hand when he's holding the mic with his right NOR can he figure out which hand to hold the mic with. He also has way too fast of a vibrato for me. I'm just not a fan, as you can tell. Plus, I'm bitter that he got a Top 12 spot over Alex Lambert.

Andrew Garcia: I seriously love this guy. I know he has been slacking a bit with his performances, but his voice is SO cool, his personality is SO cool, and his version of Straight Up is SO cool. I love him, if you couldn't tell, and I hope he breaks some more hits. My favorite moment of his is when he broke down crying after making the Top 24. So endearing...

Casey James: Not so much a fan of this guy as everybody else. I think he'll make it far, but probably farther than he should. I enjoy the sound of his voice, but it bothers me how he doesn't hold notes. He just cuts all notes off short and I do not like that one bit.

Crystal Bowersox: Probably the best of the competition. She's a multitalented woman with Juvenile Diabetes. (I heard it on ET.) (No, the fact that I watch that sometimes doesn't make me gay.) (I only watch when Angie watches.) I really enjoy her guitar skills and the FACT that she plays the harmonica (No, I won't call it a "harp") is cool, although, I don't think she's ALL that good on it. It semi annoys me how she seems to be totally against the idea of AI when she is ON it, but whatever... She's still great. Oh, and I noticed that she was REALLY upset when Katelyn left... And so was Lilly. THEN, Lilly was kicked off. It made me realize that the three of them were probably good friends... And then I thought about the three of them being friends, and it juts "made sense" to me. I thought I'd share that...

Didi Benami: I love everything about her and hope she makes it far. I think she will. I actually think she'll make it farther in the competition than she would have otherwise BECAUSE of the judges. They rip on her each week, when I think she's amazing. That sets the expectations low for her as well as makes the audience like her even more. Ultimately, it gets her more votes, I think. Also, Alex... I agree - I love that she cries 100% of the time. Oh, and I think she is pretty, but she's got SUCH an old face.

Katie Stevens: I liked her much more in the beginning of the competition, but I agree with the judges about her. I think she can't figure out "who" she is. Also, for some reason, I feel like she's sort of self centered... But that could just be me and that could just be because of her reaction last week. Oh, and you know how she has a Grandmother with Alzheimer's? I was thinking that she probably had the best time telling her family that she made it to the Top 24 (and now 12) because she could keep getting a genuine excited reaction from her Grandmother. (I'm sorry to anybody who reads this and knows someone with Alzheimer's.) (I still think it's funny to think about, though.)

Lacey Brown: I truly love the sound of her voice as well as her personality. She's a cute girl and I feel like she's marketable. The downside to her, for me, for her (Ha ha - Randy...) is that she isn't the best performer and she doesn't have the best voice. It SOUNDS cool/different, but she doesn't always hit the right notes.

Lee Dewyze: I WANT to like him, but I juts HATE him. I think he's a cocky mo fo and should be knocked out by Aaron. That'd put him in his place. He has a very cool tone to his voice, but I think he has the same problem as Casey, in that he can't hold a note nor does he have vibrato. I think he's just a cheap version of David Cook.

Michael Lynche: He's growing on me a LOT. His story is great, he's a super nice guy, and his voice is just getting better and better. Last week, I thought he may have had THE best performance. MAN, was it good. As for Kara crying over it, I thought that was very endearing and it actually got me back on the Kara train. That being said, I think you can all infer this on your own, so I'm just going to say it... I love seeing (making) women cry.

Paige Miles: Go home, already. You suck. The only reason you're still here is because of reverse racism. We don't need the "token" black chick/guy. It's not like we have a token Asian or Spanish person, right? Just listen to me, Paige, and go home.

Siobhan Magnus: Ha ha - when I think of her, now, all I can think about is 1. that note she hit, 2. her extremely slow talking, and 3. that she HAD to have been hooking up with Alex Lambert... Who has a mullet. In all honesty, though, she'll make it very far. She's GOOD. Whitney - I'm sorry I doubted her/you.

Tim Urban: He totally sucks, but after last week, I want him to stay. He's a good looking guy (Right Alex?), and did that ONE song really well. The thing about him is that he's improving SO much each week. I actually couldn't believe he was here after that first week, but now that he is, I'm rooting for him.

JUDGES:

Randy: For me, for him... Yeah... I can take or leave him, DAWG!

Ellen: She's funny at points, but annoying at all other points. Her humor does not outweigh her annoyingness and I think it was a bad choice to have her. I know it's bad, Mom, but when she is talking, I can't stop picturing her with another woman - and NOT in a good way. Also, the description I just gave, "her with another woman," is MUCH more tame than what I'm actually thinking. It's juts gross and I can't stand when she comments on how girls look. EW!

Kara: I loved her, then I started to hate her as I realized she is becoming Paula (she's either being told to do those things or she's doing them on her own). She leans into Simon and looks at him like she wants him, but I honestly think she may just be trying to get "face time" on television. If you ever notice and noticed in past seasons, when other judges talk, they just show that judge, but when Simon talks, they show him AND the person next to him (usually Paula or Kara). That being said, I think Kara realized that and is just doing that to get into those shots. For now I'm back on her caboose because she cried, but I'm sure I'll hop off once I see the next show. Plus, her hair two weeks ago (I think) made her look like a drag queen. My thoughts when I saw that weren't too clean, either. EW!

Simon: I love him and will miss him next season, although, I think he's been quite "off" with a lot of his comments this year - more than past seasons. If he gets replaced by Howard, I don't think that's such a bad idea, although, how much does Howard really know about music. I don't even know if that's just a rumor, anyway, so no sense in talking about it, right?
